About the role
The IT Director will be responsible for aligning the IT strategy and operations for Terberg Special Vehicles with the IT strategy on RTG Group level. This role involves overseeing the development and implementation of IT initiatives that align with the company's business goals, ensuring the efficient and secure operation of IT systems, and driving digital transformation across the division. The IT Director will be a key member of the divisional board, contributing to strategic decision-making and ensuring IT supports the company's international growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the IT strategy for the division, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
- Lead and manage the IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability
- Oversee IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the organization’s standards and requirements
- Drive digital transformation initiatives, leveraging emerging technologies to enhance business processes and customer experiences
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including data protection and cybersecurity
- Identify and mitigate IT risks, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Collaborate with other divisional leaders and the CIO and other IT Director to identify and address IT needs and opportunities
- Manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and alignment with financial goals
- Represent the IT function on the divisional board, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
- Foster relationships with external partners and vendors to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services and solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, preferably within a multinational project driven production organization
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse IT team
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience with digital transformation initiatives and a track record of driving innovation
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, including data protection and cybersecurit
- Ability to travel internationally as required
