Royal Terberg Group shares 2025 Sustainability Report

Sustainability is a core principle upon which both Dennis Eagle and the Royal Terberg Group are built. We see sustainability as an opportunity to drive positive change and create a better tomorrow for our people, our customers, and the world as a whole. The Royal Terberg Group recently shared its 2025 Sustainability Report to demonstrate exactly how we’re making a difference today and the focus areas shaping our strategic approach for the future.

Aptly titled ‘Driving Change for Generations to Come’, the Royal Terberg Group’s 3rd annual Sustainability Report opens with an important message from our CEO and Chair of the Board of Directors, Godfried Terberg, who outlines the strong progress made by the business across 2025 as well as our intentions for 2026 and beyond. In addition to Godfried, we also hear from Leonie Jesse, our Group Sustainability Manager, who offers an overview of her own experiences, her thoughts on the importance of a sustainable mindset, and a glimpse into why Terberg’s approach is unique.

Fundamentally, the 2025 report details our specific sustainability strategy: our focus themes, the trends impacting our approach, and our ambitions moving forward. This includes insights into how we address sustainability governance through due diligence, risk management, and our internal controls and systems, as well as a better understanding of how our related sustainability teams are structured. Importantly, the report highlights how sustainability is increasingly embedded into day-to-day decision-making and business operations across the Group.

Notable highlights across 2025 include:

  • Group-wide climate targets
  • Climate Transition Plans
  • Advancing circularity initiatives
  • Pollution and chemical safety impact assessments
  • Climate risk and opportunity assessments
  • Further investment into our people

Our 3 x 3 sustainability framework

An essential aspect of our approach to sustainability is the ability to set priorities through a process known as a Double Materiality Assessment (DMA). The report takes a deep dive into how we conduct this and the results of our findings. In turn, the topics identified by the DMA enabled us to develop a 3 x 3 sustainability framework – the strategic focus areas that guide our future activity:

  1. Climate (CO₂ reduction, opportunities, climate risks)
  2. Circularity (Business models, design and engineering, manufacturing)
  3. Health and Safety (Safety of our workforce, users, and our products)

Under each of these focus areas and themes, we have specified key actions for 2026 and beyond, with intent to introduce relevant KPIs and targets to ensure sustainability becomes measurable, actionable, and strategically embedded across our organisation. These themes are all underpinned by good business conduct, in line with the ethical, responsible, and professional standards to which we hold ourselves as a business.

From a Dennis Eagle perspective, the report highlights our great work in building our newly launched Technical Training Centre and subsequent prioritisation of skills development, our award-winning investment in our own people, and our dedication to continuous improvement in line with evolving health and safety regulations. While there’s a lot to be proud of, there is still a lot of work left to do. As part of the Royal Terberg Group, we’re deeply committed to our role in contributing to sustainable practices across the entirety of our organisation.
